Koeman Sends the Best Squad Against Germany
DAILYSPORTS - The Netherlands national team coach Ronald Koeman said that he would send the best squad to play against Germany in the Nations League this weekend.
Koeman insisted despite the anxiety of the former Ajax Amsterdam and PSV Eindhoven regarding the players’ situation, he also won’t exclude the players from the club to support the Netherlands national team.
“I completely understand the position of the club coaches. I was the same for many years. (Ajax coach) Erik ten Hag, for example, asked me to watch the load of his players and we will certainly see how everyone fares this week, but I won’t be sparing anyone for the game.”
Koeman prepared the players like the midfielder of Ajax, Frankie de Jong, who benched in the recent match due to the calf injury.
After the match against Germany, the Netherlands will play the friendly match against their neighbor, Belgium, at Brussels.
In the initial match of Nations League, the Netherlands got the 2-1 defeat against the world champion, France. Meanwhile, Germany played draw 0-0 against France.
