From 10 Madrid Coaches, Lopetegui Was the Shortest

DailySports.Space - Julen Lopetegui is officially sacked by Spain giant club, Real Madrid, Tuesday, just a day after humiliated Barcelona 1-5 in the El Clasico on the 10th-week of LaLiga.
Lopetegui officially became Madrid coach from June 12 until October 29, 2018, no longer than 140 days, the shortest period among 10 recent Madrid coaches.
In that short period, Lopetegui guided Madrid in 14 competitive matches and just won 6 of them, and 6 defeats in the remaining matches.
Overall, Madrid winning percentage under Lopetegui is 42,86 percent, the worst of Madrid coach in the past two decades.
The number isn’t fixed, for sure, considering the other coaches have more than 14 matches. However, if he gets the chance, Lopetegui could make it worse.
Ironically, the 42,86% victory was scored when Madrid are supported by 8 players listed in the Ballon d’Or nominees, the most prestigious football award in Europe for now.
Santiago Solari, who formerly handled Madrid second level club, Castilla, is appointed to be Lopetegui’s successor.
